Here's some news from the news front:
- I still have a job. I survived the layoffs, but sadly have to watch several of my co-workers go. In total, 34 positions were cut from the newspaper. I still can't fathom how the paper can adjust and go on without these amazing people, but we will come together.
- I watched Newsies last night. Best. Show. Ever.
Christian Bale can dance and talk in a funny accent any time for me.

Did I ever tell you that I was obsessed with Christian Bale as a child? This obsession lasted from about 10 years old to 16. I must have watched newsies at least six thousand times. I'll bet if I watched it right now, I could still quote it word for word along with the movie. I always knew the man had talent, even before Batman.
I'm glad you still have a job. Sorry you lost so many co-workers though.
hey, we went to the Newseum in D.C. and saw the unabomber's cabin & a chunk of the berlin wall...it was wicked awesome.
